Insane lag/rubber banding for the last few weeks?

Hey guys. I just wanted to see if anyone else has been having terrible lag/rubber banding the past few weeks.

 

There are multiple things that happen due to this type of lag. The first and easily worst effect would be extreme rubber banding. At times it can be every 5 seconds or so of me shooting back 5 yards or even cases of flying forward 5 yards. In kill cams it seems like I'll just stop running(making myself a very, very easy target.)

 

I would say it's just about made the game unplayable for me, not totally game breaking but frustrating none the less. I've reset my router/modem multiple times with no changes. This does NOT happen to me at all in other online games, including Modern Warfare 2. I have absolutely no issues with my internet connection with any other applications. In fact I get into games right away in the >50 ping category. I have a solid 4 bar the entire game.

 

I would tend to think internet problems but like I said, there are no issues with anything but MW3.

 


Anyone else?

 

 

 

 

 

P.S. Are these thread tools really messed up or do they not get along well with IE9? The insertion points keeps jumping around everywhere and at times it will not allow me to hit enter and start a new line unless I type something first and then go back and space it?

    Finally, someone who going through the same issues as I am!  I started thinking I was crazy becuase NO one in the same lobby as I would admit to having lag type issues.  I was playing fine prior to the latest patch and then everything went to hell.  Rubberband, freezing, lost connection with servers, slo-mo, and being about a second behind the other players. 

     

    I know that the kill cam is not to be trusted as a real source of feedback but my cams show one fail after another.  I KNOW that I was aimed at the other player but the cam shows me shooting at nothing while I am being shot from the side.  I am not the best player but I could hold my own and I have had games of 1:6ish ratios. 

     

    I also tried out other games online and connect with no issues.  I checked my router too and it is working perfectly as well.  as for ping type numbers I have been constantly pulling 125 or higher now where before I could ususally jump in at 75.  I don't know what the issue is but it seems to be outside of my control.  I would ask for this to be fixed in the next patch/TU but we all know how likely that will be.

    I was also getting some rubber banding about 3 days ago. I was thinking it was my connection but my conection is good. I often get into 50 ping lobbies after the last patch. I had a string of 5 games where it was rubberbanding so bad, I have to leave the game. It was unplayable. I turned my XBOX off and it went away. Was I hosting? I didn't see a host migration after I left.

    no differeny hear i had a post up some where about it and some one told me the have been working on some adjustments not where.

    I haven't got seen much of the "Rubber banding" issue in my games, but a few times i've seen it happen to people where it also shows in the Killcam, most of the time they aren't the victim though and its me as they lag forward making me aim and drop dead then shows it in the KCam.

     

    They've also had 3-4 bars so its not really them having bad connection but thats about all i've seen besides the Host B.S that I get from time to time.

    I've been having major lag issues for the first time since this game came out for the past few weeks too. Not so much rubber banding, but more "one step behind" b.s.. It sucks too because I really have fun playing this game.

    Same here! I have consistantly kept my k/d ratio above 2 since the game came out and its been slowly but steadily increasing, for the last week for about 90% of my games I struggled to even finish a game with a kd of 1

     

    My internet went down now has a fault on it so I'm hoping its been that the whole time and it will all go back to normal once they fix my fault.
