Why is there a TDM Clan Op every week?
Every single time you play TDM whilst there is a clan op everyone sits in corners ADS refusing to move, or spawn traps...?
It's when everyone turns into a camper... atleast with Kill Confirmed you have to move to get the tags or you lose... usually meaning no camping or only one or two out of twelve. TDM could be fun, but people always seem to camp - there are ways around it but they never get put into action, so here's a new idea...
I know the devs have effectively moved their attention to BO2 (Beachhead already made this clear by pointing out they are now working on V2 of Elite which exclusively focusses on BO2 with no updates for MW3) so this idea will probably go un-appreciated. Might be worth keeping in mind for BO2 though... and that being either in game audio or visual cues to draw attention to someone that has either crouched or gone prone in the same spot (or radius of this spot) for 30 seconds or more.
The audio cues could be something simple such as either the character that has been laying prone starts coughing intermitently or starts talking (maybe something patronising such as "what a nice view")
The visual cues could be that their location flashes on the mini map for a couple of seconds. (Nothing too give away as it would make it too easy and everyone would complain).
Or you could mix them together, for instance a character that has been laying prone for 30 seconds waiting for someone to walk past would start going through one of the above cues and if they still don't move the character could start stretching and yawning rather loudly making them a very easy target.
Obviously that was just a rough idea but I think it would really help eliminate camping in the game and make it more competitive.
Now to think of a fun way to mess up spawn trapping.
