I hope Split Screen MP returns in BO2

i hate how people just assume split screen player to be very crappy in cod. the first time i ever played cod game was black ops and i played it in split screen every game, even now in mw3 i still play in split screen. the whole time i play split screen my brother and these are our stats.

 

in mw3 im prestige 17 and 2.45kd ratio and in black ops im 7th prestige and 2kd ratio,

in mw3 my brother is prestige 17 and 2.35kd ratio and in black ops hes 15th prestige and 1.92kd ratio,

ALL this is played on a 19 inche tv. not all split screen player sucks.

 

 

ever consider that, when u see a split screen player doing bad, it means that their not good in cod. its not because of split screen that make them suck,its that specific person that just not good at cod. i've seen split screen player do better than non-split screen player.

 

i mean give split screen a break, they play in half the screen size of the tv compare to urs.

 

and what is this lag some of you player are speaking of, i player with my friend all the time while im in split screen and no one ever made any complain about bad connection or lags. ever consider that its just ur connection that causing the problem.

 

that fact is i think split screen mp is a great feature and i hope it does return in bo2.

 

(i even have a youtube channel showing mw3 split screen ownage.i show game plays where split screen player influence the winning outcome of the match. i only show game where both split screen has a positive kd ratio.)

    I am against it because of the effect it has on other players in the lobby. I have yet to be in a match with Split Screeners that didn't have lag. Many of the guys I play with will refuse to stay in a lobby if there are split screeners.

     

    Personally I think there is no reason for Split Screening to be in Online MP, especially with all the other connection issues we face. There are other options like Combat Training or Off Line Split Screen for more than one player at a time. It needs to go, in my humble opinion.

    my question is that, why do some player have lag issue when playing in a lobby with splitscreen.

     

    i mean i've been play split screen my whole cod career and havent experience these so call lags.

     

    i have played split screen with my brother in mw3 with my friend for atleast 10prestige worth of experience and none have ever complain about lag.

     

    would you consider split screen mp feature to stay, if bo2 dont have any of this lag issue?

    I have never been in a match where Split Screeners didn't have some sort of lag. Perhaps because you are the one playing it, you don't notice it, but I know the rest of us do.

     

    Plus, When you have a split screener, you have one player who can't use a Mic to communicate with teammates, so it effects teamwork.

     

    I think the bulk of the community has had more bad experiences with Split Screeners than good. I just don't think its necessary.

    like i have said i've many game in split screen with my friends and none has ever complain about lag issue. and everytime i play with them, i always let my friend be the party leader.

     

    and who says split screen cant have mic, i guess the guest wont but that not what im reffering to. when two different xbox live account play in split screen they can both have mic.

     

    also just because the guest has no mic i dont believe it can affect team work that much considering there are a lot of other players that dont use mic.

     

    you THINK the bulk of the community has had more bad experiences with Split Screeners than good, this may be some what true but not all bad experience comes from lag and if the other half of bad experience is about them being bad cod player then like i said maybe its that specific person that just not good at cod.

    Splitscreeners cause lag for sure. They should definitely be banned from Ground War.

    i notice that everytime i play mw3 in split screen, all the other split screens and noob in the lobby gets paired up in my team and at the end my team still end up winning. and yes they were all negative in kd ratio.

     

    the fact is if ur a good cod player, even if ur team suck, u can still do decent in a match, even if it means losing sometime.

    Read through the forums. I didn't come to that conclusion lightly.

     

    What I mean is that you don't see how a Split Screener lags on your opponent's screen. MW3 was laggy enough as it is, you get stuck with a split screener you can expect a good percentage of your shots to go through that player. The saving grace is that, and this is also from experience and not bias, 9/10 split screeners are not very savvy at the game, so this doesn't matter as much.

     

    I can list off multiple times this week alone in which I have been in lobbies with Split Screeners in which multiple players made comments about not wanting to play with them.

     

    I am not the only one noticing the lag, like I said I have numerous friends and acquaintances who refuse to stay in the lobby if a Split Screener is in there.

     

    If it comes back, I will of course adjust to it like I always have, but I, for one, don't care to see it come back.

    Now i just have a question.

     

    If there were no such thing as lag or a rare occasion where split screen cause lag in a lobby in BO2, then would it be a big deal if split screen return in bo2.

     

    i mean the main concern is the lag issue, if there weren't any of that, then it should be fine to have split screen in bo2 right?

     

    if not, explain why u truely dislike split screen other than lag issue.
