No it's true. I give kudos to infinity ward for making stealth a viable and GOOD tactic in mw3 (from what it would seem). As a sniper, it's FAIRLY annoying, when all things are considered, that there is no real solid counter to someone running blind eye, assassin, and dead silence.

Even assuming i use claymores or betty's, it won't matter after one kill. I'll have to play paranoid because i won't see them coming (if they're good) and i won't hear them either. And thank heavens (/sarcasm) that they're mysteriously immune to the motion sensor as well.

It's bothersome. I wish scavenger replenished equipment with it's pro version like it did before. But i digress, my clan and I will just work around it and figure out what we can do to counter the heavy amounts of sneaky ninja's that'll be running about this game.

It's going to happen and it's going to probably be the number one method people approach with in this game. We'll see how it goes after the game comes out

Tier 3 is interesting because the only one in there that doesn't seem to do much for me is Marksman.

Stalker will be great for strafing corners with the gun already up.

SitRep will be great if a team is planting a ton of claymores/betties

Dead Silence is helpful so that I don't confuse my own footsteps with enemy footsteps. haha

Steady Aim is useful for coming out of sprinting and staying on target.

    DING...DING...DING...DING

We have winner!  The 1,000th "ghost sucks" thread on these forum.  Here have a cookie and tissue to dry these salty delicious tears.

Honestly, this is what you are worried about?  Nothing else in this game concerns you besides camping and ghost?  Have you every played a COD title before?  Let me help you out, here are the topics of the most whined about problems from past games:

12/1/2007 - COD:4 - Camping with Juggy is ruining the game

2/27/2009 - WAW - People need to get out of corners with their MP40s

    11/20/2009 - MW2 - ZOMG camping with Danger Close/OMA/1887's = NUKE

    6/6/2011 - B.O. - Ghost is overpowered, I can't kill campers

Get better, know the spots and get there before the campers.  Campers are creatures of habbit and often times have very little imagination.  Mess up their routine and they are easy kills.

"I wonder if you know the difference between "camping" and "tactical positioning". I'm a sniper in every Call of duty i play. It's easily the most effective and efficient play style that helps out my team first, and my stats second. I only get kills when retards are running directly into my line of sight over and over. My purpose is to cut off enemy routes and take them out at long range. That's the sniper's purpose. You call it camping. I say keep crying and keep feeding my .50 cal by running down the middle of an open field expecting kills to be handed to you with your smg"

In Black Ops there is hardly any "tactical positioning" that you talk about. It is just straight up "camp in a corner with motion sensor"

Black Ops was never made for sniping. Didn't get the memo Treyarch sent out? It was only slapped onto the game to please the OpTic guys.

Everyones worried about stealth but what about the "Run em and gun em" type. youll be able to bring up the gun faster, aim down sight faster. be more acurate from the hip, and reload faster aswell. all at the same time...
You know and i know that there is going to be sooooo many people that will use only that one over powered weapon is every game, sporting this around... drop shotting left and right... and whacking people down like flys... What about that aspect?

You speak the truth, but it doesnt matter. There is an overwhelming amount of terrible players in COD. Without red dots they are lost! Campers are not the problem. Red dots on the map have always been a crutch for core players and has created a lack of "using one's head" effect. The run and gun perk combo will be deadly this year and I cant wait! Go ahead and use blind eye and assassin while I have Faster reload/ADS and increased hip fire. I know I will continue to have ZERO problems with campers as I am smart enough to check my corners.

Or even deadlier, a mix of the two classes-Fast reloading, while invisible to the campers, with a tight hipfire spread. *nudge nudge, wink wink* Eh? Eh? nvm...
