“We’ve got a job to do.” – Russell Adler, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
The Operators of Black Ops Cold War are the best in the business. Whether it’s carrying out the classified assignments of NATO and the Warsaw Pact, or joining forces to discover unnatural anomalies as Requiem, these Operators will get the job done by any means necessary.
Totaling 13 in all at launch, these Operators work best in the shadows and each have their unique backgrounds, service affiliation, citizenship, and even blood type. When you first hit the Operators tab, you’ll have a tough choice to make: Will you side with NATO, led by the US and the Western allies, or with the Warsaw Pact, headed by the Soviet Union?
After you’ve selected your favorite division, you can pick the Operator you want to play, take a look at their bio and background, and see the Operator in full preview mode, complete with a 360-degree view. Whether a member of British intelligence out to avenge the loss of a loved one or a fanatical genius hell-bent on fighting for the Soviet state, each Operator has a personal backstory as unique as the clandestine agency they work for.
Here are all 13 Operators available to play as in Black Ops Cold War at launch. Note that some Operators require you to unlock them before they become available. Check out the Prestige Primer for Tips on how to unlock them all.
11 of the Operators are currently available to play as in Warzone.
Vargas and Hunter will be available in Warzone on December 10.
