Are you game enough to witness the ultimate PvP skill challenge? Forget pistols, SMGs, and sniper rifles. Find out what happened when our steel-edged partners brought a knife to a gunfight in the Blade Master Trial in Call of Duty^® Warzone^™ 2.0’s Season 02. This was an intense First-Person Slasher contest spanning across three regions where only the most proficient knife-wielder was crowned Blade Master. The goal? Get as many knife eliminations as possible in Resurgence Mode within an hour.

In true Bushido spirit, kills from guns, explosives, or vehicles did not count in this mini competition where combatants vowed to bring back the Way of the Blade. Equipped with knives as their main weapon of choice, the gritty competition among our combatants proved to be a battle of skill for 19 skilled ronin. The warriors deftly redefined the essence of melee combat on the atmospheric Ashika Island map, developed by High Moon Studios.

1^st PLACE - Art AirsoftGun [Catch the replay HERE]

Playing in a team of three, Art AirsoftGun combined cunning and finesse to clinch the Blade Master crown with an extraordinary 45 knife kills. Unaccustomed to blades at first, Art had to adapt his aggressive combat tactics to achieve his well-deserved win. Watch how he crept around the castle’s perimeter like a ninja!

2^nd PLACE - DrewD0g [Catch the replay here: Part 1 | Part 2 ]
With his teammates providing suppressive fire, coming in hot as runner-up is DrewD0g who racked up 28 kills as he snuck up and pounced on his enemies in the span of 60 minutes. Perfectly comfortable in an open terrain, Drew was the master of stealth all round—whether on the rooftops or on the ground.

3^rd PLACE - Hmay [Catch the replay HERE]

Off to a slow start in the first 15 minutes, Hmay eventually found her killer groove and slashed her way to the third spot with a shrewd combination of a riot shield and a dam blade. With a solid total of 22 knife kills, be sure to check out some of her impressive knife-throwing skills as well!
