Alex – Aka “Echo 3-1”
Operations Officer, Special Activities Division (SAD), CIA
An operations officer in the CIA's Special Activities Division, Alex is responsible for high-threat covert missions. He operates completely in the shadows and doesn’t typically carry papers, weapons or military uniforms that reveals his ties to the U.S. government, especially after being charged with desertion after joining Farah to topple a ruthless regime in Urzikstan.
Leading small teams, Alex specializes in infiltrating enemy lines and surviving inhospitable conditions in hostile locations with only a laptop, light machine gun, sat-phone, and rocket-equipped combat drones. But like any covert Operator, Alex often engages in unsavory activities to get the job done. Proficient in counter-insurgency, special reconnaissance, counterterrorism, information warfare and anti-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, Alex is as versatile as he is feared.
Surrendering his former rank and history of special ops military service with Army Delta, Alex sacrificed traditional contact and association with family to join the SAD. He spent years living under a series of assumed identities to perform “sensitive” objectives that others couldn’t, or wouldn’t do . Once he gets a mission, Alex will often operate autonomously in training, advising and arming allies to act as interpreters, pathfinders and soldiers.
When push comes to shove, Alex can be his most persuasive with a suitcase full of cash, while his cultural knowledge and language skills can get him out of a jam just as easily as an LMG. An expert in human intel, Alex works directly with other assets who act as his eyes and ears on the ground. Neither confirmed nor denied, Alex’s team, along with host nation forces, plan and execute acts of sabotage against enemy targets.
Often without ready access to regular transport, Alex is capable of adapting, and will commandeer helicopters, aircraft, or local fighters if the need arises. Alex values direct contact with local militias where he can track both allied and enemy intentions to help advise appropriate action. Deeply committed to his work, Alex gives any team both operational advantage, though his propensity for doing anything to get the job done might raise concern for his operational fitness.
Alex is one of the Operators coming soon to Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2: Day of Reckoning Battle Pass.
