A faithful re-imagining of the fan-favorite Highrise multiplayer map, Skyrise combines futuristic exoskeleton abilities with a classic multiplayer environment. Skyrise is a new multiplayer map from the Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare Supremacy DLC Pack, available now on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation®Network, and PC.
Classic Map, New Systems
Just like its predecessor, Skyrise features a dangerous middle section with multiple cover points bookended by two sniper-friendly buildings. Unlike its predecessor, however, players have access to all the futuristic advantages of Advanced Warfare’s arsenal, which makes for a completely new and updated match experience. Take advantage of this and you’ll be one step ahead of players stuck in the past.
Step Up, Snipers
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, snipers can’t help but set their sights across Skyrise’s long middle section. Luckily, there’s plenty of cover and multiple routes you can take to steer clear of long-range fire. The trick is to always consider which sight lines you’re exposed within, and to avoid the most dangerous ones in the current situation. If you’re sniping, watch for slip-ups and then go for the shot.
Reposition As Needed
Without clearly separated lanes of travel, it might seem like enemies are coming from every which way in Team Deathmatch, but you’ll start to get a hang of various movement patterns after a few matches. At that point, strategy centers more on knowing when to engage and when to reposition and attack from a different angle. Always consider your options to improve your chances of winning skirmishes.
Exo Grapple Destruction
Many possibilities exist in such a densely constructed map, and smart movement in the Exo Grapple playlist can provide the edge to keep your team in the lead. In the middle, consider any of the various platforms overlooking the ground level. In either building, use your grapple to stick toward the ceiling and surprise enemy players not paying attention to their surroundings.
