Lifeline

Map Focused Loadouts
Prebrief
The Rogue Black Ops team has hit the high seas on a luxury yacht in order to make their escape back to Avalon in this small-sized Strike map that funnels Operators directly into the fight. Smoke billows from its flaming hardtop of this moving boat while the fight rages on below as the enemy attempts to collect on The Rogue team’s bounty. From Bow to Aft, it won’t take long to collide in the center Bar or along the steps on the Portside and Starboard. Keep your head on a swivel or risk getting thrown overboard.

Lifeline
// MULTIPLAYER MAPS // STRIKE
Ninja Gunfight: When playing Gunfight on any Strike map, it’s always a good idea to keep a low profile. However, on Lifeline it’s even more crucial that the enemy can’t hear you. Finding a cheeky flank or not cluing the enemy into your firing angle is what can win the round.
Short the throw: Operators have the ability to throw grenades and other throwables pretty far, but on Lifeline it’s easy to throw your equipment overboard by accident. If you’re unsure, try to bounce your grenades on the deck or focus the use of Sticky Grenades or Molotovs.
Hailstorm of bullets: Lifeline may be a Strike map, but due to the narrow nature of the yacht, LMGs perform quite well here. Lay down as much fire as possible and enable your team to control the fight.
Advanced Map Tips
Bar Stronghold — Alpha (A)
The center of Lifeline is a Bar, it’s the only interior location on the map and the best stronghold that the map contains. Fighting for this location can be difficult depending on the enemy positioning; however, if you and your team can gain control of the Bar, you can dominate the battle.
Dance in the Shadows — Beta (B)
The lower Bar area sits right underneath the bar and shrouds the controlling Operators from the enemy approaching from anywhere except the Aft. There is a single stairway that leads directly into this area, but the other one moves past it and faces away, giving Operators hiding in the lower Bar an advantage. Beware of diving Operators coming from either direction, as they may surprise you. So long as you’re diligent, even the most agile Operators will still be caught in your crosshairs as they come flying around the corner.

Roadblock
LMG, Recon Combat Specialty
Rock an LMG on a Strike map like Lifeline? Absolutely! The new Feng 82 has a slightly lower rate of fire than some of the other LMGs but hits like a truck, and with some extra attachments via Gunfighter, you’ll be able to outfit the weapon to be agile and lay down covering fire for your teammates. Using the Recon Combat Specialty and holding down a lane while knowing if you’re in danger is a powerful combination.
Hit the Deck
SMG, Enforcer Combat Specialty
Take the returning fan-favorite SMG to the high seas and utilize its incredible rate of fire to take the fight directly to the enemy’s face. Additionally, because of Slipstream combined with the Enforcer Combat Specialty, your Operator will be swift and be able to move short distances without needing to worry about going in and out of Tac-Sprint.
Cone of Damage
Shotgun, SMG
Bring the ultimate amount of firepower. Equipped with a semi-auto Shotgun and a backup SMG, there isn’t much you can’t handle on your own. Utilize Slipstream to compensate for the slowdown of the Shotgun while being able to slide your way into the enemy spawn. Overkill is a great utility so that you can have a backup for a little bit more range; however, the Shotgun should be able to help you approach every corner on Lifeline with certainty of securing the elimination.
Lifeline is deceptively long as well as narrow. The yacht gives opportunity for tight corner combat and cheeky maneuvers, so watch your corners. But remember to keep your head on a swivel, because an enemy Operator can make their way to your flank in no time.
