Map Focused Loadouts
Prebrief
SCUD takes the battle to a military outpost following a devastating missile attack, the air thick with smoke from the surrounding fires. A radar dish lies in ruins and the buildings around it are pockmarked with holes blasted into their ceilings and walls. It’s your job to get in there and finish the job before the next salvo arrives.

Main Spawn Point: Trucks (Northwest)
The Trucks spawn sits on open ground behind the destroyed Radar, a few scattered objects breaking up an otherwise desolate lot. The netted missiles and crates offer superb cover toward the Radar, the forward vehicles acting as bulwarks when pushing into the map. In the adjacent Supplies building, a stack of TNT offers cover when facing the doorway. Don’t worry, these armaments won’t explode under fire.
Tactical Location: Radar
Radar dominates the map, a two-level structure with a 360-degree view over a huge portion of the map. Up top, you’ve got the center support and the damaged dish for cover. You can crouch down and mount your weapon on the low wall to fire from a well-protected angle or circle the base seeking targets all around. Drop into the Controls room below for a more concealed stand with a hole in the ground offering an escape route through the Tunnel toward the Trenches.
Tactical Location: Trenches
Dive into the Trenches to largely negate and even counter threats from the central Radar. In exchange, prepare for intense close-ranged fights with extended sight lines down the narrow lanes. Defend the area from the lower Dugout or climb up to the Outpost for a higher view, including a direct line of sight toward the front of the Radar dish.
Tactical Location: HQ
The HQ marks a formidable corner position if you can manage to hold the small interior. Two double doors face East with a forward Nest position to expand your view south of the Radar. Lay down on the vehicle outside the north exit or crouch behind the generator against the HQ’s outer wall for cover. Stand on top of it to peek through a hole in the wall providing a clear view inside.
Main Spawn Point: Breach (Southeast)
The line of vehicles in Breach act as both cover and vantage points, get behind them to avoid incoming shots or climb up top to fire your own longshots at distant targets. Move into the Fuel depot to get out of the open. The structure has taken a beating in the recent attack, but its walls are still standing, providing a vital defense against attacks from the outside.

Double duty: Consider equipping the Overkill Wildcard to bring two Primary Weapons into the match. Choose your favorite long-ranged weapon for the abundance of distant sight lines around the Radar and down the narrow lanes of the Trenches; pair it with an SMG or Shotgun when travelling through tight areas like Controls, Dugout, HQ, Fuel, and the Tunnel.
Scan the sky: While interior spaces often provide reliable overhead cover, that’s not the case here. The recent missile attack has blasted huge holes in the ceilings of these buildings, especially in Fuel and Supplies where even the Hellstorm Scorestreak can find its way in.
Barrel blast: Note the explosive red barrels placed around the map and especially concentrated in the Fuel depot. Shoot them to inflict explosive damage on nearby enemies and steer clear of them in combat to avoid the same fate.
Advanced Map Tips
Metal Ramp Sight Line — Alpha (A)
Traverse the twisted metal ramp made up of destroyed pieces from the Radar dish on its north side. Mount your weapon on the side paneling for a view toward the Outpost and Scuds or lie down for a concealed sight line into outer Trenches. When spotted, the hole in the ground nearby offers a perfect getaway into the lower Tunnel.
Sniper Sight Line — Beta (B)
While the open field offers plentiful long sight lines, Snipers will feel especially at home along the northern Trenches path. Whether firing from the Trucks-side barrels pictured above or from the opposite end, there’s about 60 meters separating you from your targets. Put your eye to the scope and land the pinpoint shot.

Try these suggested Loadouts when first deploying to SCUD, each offering a different approach to the battles ahead.
Dish It Out
LMG
Pump your enemies full of lead with this Overkill-equipped Loadout featuring the high-capacity XMG LMG paired with the C9 SMG for tight spaces. With Fast Hands, it’s a quick swap between the two weapons, while Flak Jacket boosts your defenses against explosives and Double Time helps you change position fast. Activate the Acoustic Amp when enemies close in to sharpen your senses, SMG in hand for a rapid response.
High Score Spy
Sniper Rifle, Enforcer
SCUD’s flat surface gives snipers plenty of angles to work with above ground and down the long lanes in the Trenches. This Loadout excels at team support with Bankroll and Dispatcher combining to help you unlock your non-lethal Scorestreaks fast. Pick Scout Pulse > UAV > Counter UAV for constant intel or swap one out for Interceptors to call in a squadron of fighter jets that will eliminate enemy air targets.
Use Sleeper Agent to disguise your movements, and the Enforcer Combat Specialty to boost your movement speed and health regen after eliminating enemies.
Vanguard
Assault Rifle, Recon
This no-nonsense Loadout puts a highly customized Assault Rifle in your hands enhanced via the Gunfighter Wildcard, supported by the Assault Pack Field Upgrade to top back up when running low on ammo and equipment. Ghost and Cold-Blooded reduce your profile so you can concentrate on fighting, with Forward Intel improving your minimap and the Recon Combat Specialty offering additional intel abilities.
