Map Focused Loadouts
Prebrief
A stakeout in Avalon has been compromised as Operators breach the small apartment, battling through the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and spilling out onto the balcony. Leftover surveillance equipment marks the progress of the conducted intel-gathering, a whiteboard detailing the extensive operation within.

Extreme close quarters: Consider using Bruiser from the Perk 1 category to replenish your Operator’s health after eliminating enemies with melee attacks and Finishing Moves. Stakeout’s a tight map, giving plentiful opportunities to close the distance and strike with your dedicated melee weapon.
Bathroom break: The bathrooms on either side of the Stairwell are prime ambush points. Toss a Sticky Grenade or other throwable to dislodge enemies within and use the tiny rooms yourself to cut down enemies turning the corner on the map’s north end.
Shotgun level up: While all weapon classes can perform well on Stakeout, Shotguns are especially effective. Hang out by the Bedrooms, Office, Dark Room, Living Room, and other small areas where you can inflict heavy damage at close range, earning valuable Weapon XP leading to more attachment unlocks.
Advanced Map Tips
Hop and a Skip — Alpha (A)
Feeling adventurous? It’s possible to cross the entire southern Balcony without moving into the building. Hop onto the A/C unit and the scaffold positioned between the Balcony railings to then jump forward to the next section. Put those platforming skills to use and run circles around the enemy.
Vent Your Anger — Beta (B)
There are several open vents placed in the rooms throughout Stakeout, including in the Office, Dark Room, and Bedroom. With careful aim, you can land some great surprise attacks by tossing a grenade through them to the other side, hitting enemies without them even seeing you first.
Dark Room Pivot — Gamma (Γ)
Don’t miss the short crawl space connecting the Dark Room and eastern Bedroom. It’s a quick pivot from one room to the next, lending a useful escape when you need to leave either area or acting as another ambush point for surprising enemies expecting you to come at them through the map’s more obvious pathways.
Map Focused Loadouts
Clean up on Stakeout using these three suggested Loadouts created to maximize your slaying power on the map.
Clear the Room
Shotgun, Enforcer Combat Specialty
This close-ranged powerhouse combines enhanced movement via the Dexterity and Gung-Ho Perks with the Enforcer Combat Specialty, Bruiser, and Stim Shot to keep you healthy and moving quickly as you clear room after room.
Using the Perk Greed Wildcard, this Loadout also takes the Gearhead Perk, allowing you to plant your Neurogas more often in addition to hacking enemy equipment and Field Upgrades. Toss your Thermo Grenade down the Stairwell or through the vents to vaporize enemy Operators and remember that swapping to your Handgun is always faster than reloading.
Off the Hip
SMG
Equip the Gunfighter Wildcard for a highly customized SMG. Consider attachments like the Steady Aim Laser to improve hipfire spread or the Tactical Laser to access Tactical Stance. With Scavenger refilling your ammo and equipment, you might even consider Rapid Fire to increase your weapon’s fire rate, pummeling opponents with a barrage of damage.
Tracker helps you hunt down enemies, and Quartermaster offers another means of refilling your equipment. Open your battles with a Flashbang to disorient your foes before dispatching them and toss down your Trophy System for added defense when you’re the target of incoming projectiles.
No Surrender
Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Strategist Combat Specialty
This Loadout is prepared for all engagements, using the Overkill Wildcard to equip both an Assault Rifle and a Shotgun, with Fast Hands improving your swap speed between the two. Keep your ammo and equipment stocked using the Assault Pack with additional equipment support via Quartermaster.
Equip Flak Jacket for improved defense against explosives, and always consider which Primary Weapon is best suited for the room ahead. Your Shotgun is ideal for small rooms and around tight corners, while the Assault Rifle excels in the Stairwell, across the Balcony, and within the long Surveillance room.
