Map Focused Loadouts
Prebrief
Enter the Pit, a small subsection of a Russian mining tunnel that runs through a cave, the ventilation shaft above letting in the only natural light. Follow the tracks to the overturned mine cart or get up on the pipes to look down on the action. Use this guide for an in-depth look at the map so you can mine its terrain for every possible advantage.

POI Overview
Dig into Pit’s major points of interest with a detailed look at key areas around the map including tips for fighting above and below the central Cave.

Main Spawn Point: Tunnel (West)
The Tunnel spawn faces the Cave with archways opening to an adjacent Barracks. Two mine carts line the tracks, one covered and the other open. Climb up on the first for a higher view or crouch into the second for durable cover facing the Cave and back toward the starting spawn.
Tactical Location: Cave
Control the Cave and you control the map. Easier said than done. The overturned mine cart in the middle offers some defense for Operators below but otherwise it’s open ground with sight lines incoming from all sides and from the upper Pipe and ledges. Tread carefully.
Tactical Location: Pipe
Access the upper Pipe via the yellow ladder in the Barracks or in Generator. The ledges to either side of the pipe offer some cover when firing down and across, with the pipe itself giving quick access across and back down to the lower level. Note that you can also climb up to Pipe by jumping off the overturned mine cart below.
Main Spawn Point: Shaft (East)
Like the opposite Tunnel spawn, Shaft places Operators by two mine carts — one filled and one open — on the tracks toward the Cave. Duck into Generator on the side to climb up to Pipe or take the further flanking path into the middle.

Bounce back: With Pit’s small figure eight layout, you can easily carve a path from enemy to enemy for non-stop action. If you reach the other side without making contact, turn around before you become the victim.
Cover the cart: Every inch of cover matters in a tight spot like the Pit. Move in, over, and around the mine carts throughout to find the best angle for your next fight. Better than getting caught out in the open with nothing but dust for cover.
Cut corners: Ambush enemies in the narrow flanking paths above and below, including the short pathway from the ladders to Pipe and along the outer ground floor routes. These pinch points avoid the larger center path for more concealed attacks.
Advanced Map Tips
Mine Cart Hop — Alpha (A)
The ladders in Barracks and Generator aren’t the only way up to Pipe. Jump from the top of the overturned cart to reach the upper level. Timing is essential, as standing on the center cart briefly exposes your position to multiple sightlines around the Cave. Once up top, enjoy the heightened view.
Pipe Flanks — Beta (B)
Both ladders reach up to a tight turn toward the ledges by Pipe. You don’t have to move up all the way to the ledge or the crossing; stay within the pivot point to avoid exposure to the Cave while targeting the other end from a greater distance. You might also cross the map and climb the opposite ladder to come up on an enemy from behind.
Cave Ambush — Gamma (Γ)
There’s another overturned cart against the south Cave wall. Crouch down beside it for a stealth view over the center or get on top of it for a mid-height view. You can climb up to Pipe from here, too, throwing off your opponent with a quick shift of position.

Mine the Win
SMG, Enforcer Combat Specialty
The Enforcer Combat Specialty is always a strong bet in tight spaces, keeping you fast and healthy so long as you continue slaying. Use Gunfighter to maximize the strength of the Tanto .22, a steady SMG that performs well off the hip and down sights. Plant Neurogas by key choke points and use Stim Shot to recover from damage. Your Perks encourage fast movement with health regen on melee eliminations.
Demo Blast
Shotgun/SMG, Strategist Combat Specialty
A Shotgun and SMG pair well in the Pit. Equip Fast Hands for rapid swapping and shrug off explosions with Flak Jacket and the Trophy System. Further control the mine with Gearhead, protecting you from enemy equipment so you can concentrate on winning via gunfights while catching enemies off guard with your Decoy and Blast Trap.
Foreman
Assault Rifle, Enforcer Combat Specialty
The Thermo Grenade’s delayed timing adds to the threat of this Loadout, a strong mid-ranged build combining defensive and support abilities favoring both aggressive and sentinel style play. This class excels through all paths, rewarding strategic play that keeps enemies at middle range.
