Aftermarket Parts, a new addition to Gunsmith, are innovative modification kits that drastically change a weapon's function and identity. They offer powerful enhancements beyond regular attachments, unlocked by completing weekly in-game challenges when a weapon reaches its maximum level.
Medium range Primary Weapons. Aiming down sights or Tac-Stance. Full-auto, usually. Average mobility. Often versatile due to attachment options.
Medium- to long-range Primary Weapons. Aiming down sights. Semi-auto or three-round burst, usually. Average mobility. High accuracy with high damage.
Short-range Primary Weapons. Aiming down sights, Tac-Stance, or hip-firing. Full-auto, usually. High mobility.
Extreme close-range Primary Weapons. Hip-fire, Tac-Stance, or aiming down sights. Variety of firing mechanisms. High mobility. Easiest weapon to spray.

Modern Warfare III returns to classic gameplay with map voting, red dot indicators on the minimap displaying where an enemy is when firing an unsuppressed weapon, starting with chosen perks at the start of each match, and more. Likewise, the Covert Sneaker Perk allows you to move around silently when equipped, and Core Multiplayer Health has been increased to 150 which lengthens the Time-to-Kill (TTK). Hardcore is not affected.
When maneuvering in Modern Warfare III Multiplayer, expect the following movement abilities to affect your Operator’s general responsiveness: Slide canceling animations (i.e., “slide cancel”) but Slide Canceling does not reset Tactical Sprint, partial reload canceling (I.e., “reload cancel”) to immediately return fire, faster Mantling and Mantling while Sprinting speed, firing during and immediately after Sliding, Tactical Sprint duration increased dependent on weapon equipped, and Tactical Sprint recharging while Sprinting.
